Deron Brown discovered his desire to shape urban environments while studying at Louisiana State University. He chose a path less traveled as he worked with community development corporations to create affordable housing projects throughout Baton Rouge. His efforts lead him to be the first urban planner appointed to the Mayors Office of East Baton Rouge Parish. The skills that were cultivated while in the Mayors office became an asset during the recovery process after the devastation caused by hurricane Katrina. Mr. Brown was a lead planner responsible for developing the recovery strategies for New Orleans, LA. Mr. Brown served as president, CAO of a firm that grew to over 55 people specializing in urban planning, commercial architecture, disaster recovery, project management, grants management and facility maintenance. Deron will use his passion for uniting urban fabrics to create development opportunities for the firm.
