Senior Project Manager

Joel D. Fontenot

RA, AIA, NCARB

“Usually, while working on the initial ideas of a design, I’ll throw in the wild and silly ideas early on just to get it out of my system. Then I’ll find the more practical elements that actually work. Sometimes those initial ideas might make their way back where they won’t seem so wild or silly anymore.”

Joel began his career while working with a local architect while in his second year at Louisiana State University, followed by a position with the University’s Office of Facility Development. He gained experience in various aspects of renovation and maintenance of existing buildings dating to the early 1920’s, as well as new construction.

With over 36 years of experience, Joel has expertise in a variety of project types, including Commercial, Educational, Justice, and Religious projects.
