“If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person’s point of view and see things from that person’s angle as well as from your own.” Henry Ford
Lynn is a long-time member of the National Association of Women In Construction and is a founding board member of the NAWIC Atlanta Scholarship Foundation.
It was purely by accident that Lynn fell in love with construction. While Lynn was attending Dekalb College at night in pursuit of her accounting degree, a temporary agency she was working for assigned her to work in a one-woman office for a masonry contracting company. That love for construction has lasted for over thirty years for the jobs she has held in her career have been in construction. This career path eventually took her to open a family business with her husband. She worked with Logan Masonry for 20 years until her husband’s retirement. It was a game changer for her when she came to work for Chasm Architecture in 2015. She saw, for the first time, an Architect’s perspective: how a project can come from an idea and be brought to fruition.
