Baton Rouge Community College Nursing and Allied Health
CHASM, and JV Partner Mackey Mitchell Architects in association with Manning Architecture, is designing the new Nursing & Allied Health facility. The new four-story, 95,000 SF building is located at the front of the BRCC Mid-City campus along with one of Baton Rouge’s main transportation routes. The new building will blend elements of the existing campus with a more current, contemporary architecture to communicate the bright, aspirational future of careers in health sciences at the front of the campus. To take full advantage of the new building’s high-profile location, generous expanses of exterior glazing will provide transparency to reveal sophisticated clinical simulation labs for Nursing, and a wide variety of high-tech learning spaces for a growing collection of Allied Health disciplines.
