The Media Center, located on the second floor of the addition, bridges the gap between the existing and new areas of the building. Providing the perfect backdrop to the angular, wood ceiling and tear drop light, the terra-cotta detailing on the upper floors of the existing building are visible through the Media Center’s clerestory windows. This level of complex planning is evidence of a great teaming strategy between the prime joint venture team and CHASM Architecture. This one-of-a-kind project also included a signature 24-hour radio station, dance studio, music rooms, modern classrooms, art rooms, labs, gymnasium, dining area, multipurpose rooms and much more. This is a signature project in the Baton Rouge community and CHASM Architecture played a critical role in its overall success.
