Originally from Bridgetown, Barbados, Halim graduated from Florida A&M University with a Master of Architecture in May 2025. He also holds a Master of Science in Building and Construction Management from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies (Honors) from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
With a background in high-end residential design, commercial projects, and multifamily dwellings, Halim has delivered a range of work from design through project management in Barbados. He previously worked at Michael Gomes Associates in Barbados as an Assistant Architect / Project Manager and completed an internship at Kohn Pedersen Fox in New York, contributing to large-scale international design efforts. Alongside professional practice, Halim has served as a teaching assistant at Florida A&M University and as a part-time tutor at Barbados Community College, where he supported students in interior decorating and design fundamentals. His approach balances technical rigor with creative vision, always grounded in the principle that architecture communicates most effectively through thoughtful design.
